Blogger Should have the Guts To Remove THE NEWS BLOG

Due to it’s post about Lt. Governor Steele (NSFW) I believe that Blogger should remove THE NEWS BLOG. See, there’s this little part of the Bogger Terms of Service that states:

You agree to not use the Service to: (a) upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; (emphasis mine)

So basically you’re not allowed to post something that is racially objectionable. How many people find Mr. Gilliard’s post racially objectionable? C’mon, let’s see those hands. Thank you.

Blogger needs to do something about this, otherwise, the hate-mongers and race-baiters are going to have an example that they can point to when they’re called on the carpet for using the Blogger service.

You may be saying “well what’s racist about this?” I’m glad you asked. See “sambo” is an extremely divisive term, especially for people who have grown up in the South. In fact, Wikipedia, lists the term as a racial slur, quite rightly.

Now, normally I’m not a big fan of cencorship, but I’ve about had my fill of certain people (the left) being able to say anything they want while others of us (white, heterosexual, able-bodied males, WHAM for short) have to walk on eggshells. Can you imagine the outrage if I called Cynthia McKinney a “simple sambo.” Yeah, me too, that’s why I’m not.

Also, as a side note Mr. Gilliard also seems to have a problem with all Black Republicans, not just this one, his comment states

You know if Black Republican wasn’t a synonym for betrayer of black people we could debate their views.

Wow!, any one out there have a problem with that? I would just love for Mr. Gilliard to meet the Honorable Willie Talton one time, that would be a lot of fun and I’m sure Mr. Gilliard could learn a lot.

So what can you do? I encourage you to go by the post, read it, and if you find it racially objetionable, hit the little “Flag” button up at the top. This will alert Blogger to the fact that you think this post shouldn’t be on their site. I’m assuming that if enough people give them that message, then Blogger will actually do something about it.
